DIDN’T BLOGGING GO OUT OF STYLE IN 2007?

yes it did

but I heard it’s becoming cool again

just like low rise pants and dreams about the revolution

being a blogger is what 2020 is all about

so you better hurry and become a part of this madness

a-losing-sleepover is me

writing out of astonishment mainly 

out of anger often 

writing to grasp as well as to let go 

writing in English

blogging because diaries are not of this century and because it might be meaningful to share

inspired by a friend who has the romantic believe that the comment section could be something of a salon to us millenials

finding strength and balance in being very naive as well as very critical

knowing that all I write is personal as well as political

writing whilst hoping you think of me as the weird granddaughter of Kurt Vonnegut and Meggie Nelson 

writing with the determined believe that these times are critical and we are in full crisis 

trying my best to not grow bitter because of it 

to stay soft and open 

bendable and sensitive when it comes to perceiving the world 

but stubborn and ineradicable when it comes to demanding change 

trying my best to stay with the trouble 

to embrace the complexity of it all 

but to not let it stop me from being radical 

secretly having a lot of trust in words 

believing they shape and mold my thoughts 

as well as reality 

feeling like an architect on a secret mission
